Now in this video we are going to talk aboutfive low-carb high-fat foods that are really going to help you improve your health. So,here’s the deal. When you see this you probably think you have to follow a certain kind ofdiet to get the benefit from this or you have to be on the ketogenic diet and that’s nottrue at all. These five low-carb high-fat foods that Ireally enjoy including into my daily routine are going to help you improve your healthand that’s simply because the research says so let’s dive in. Now we are looking at the first one: AvocadoAvocado is great for a lot of reasons. One of the first things that I like about avocadois that I like putting it on salads, I like just splitting one in half, putting sea salton it and eating it like that. Of course, I like putting it in smoothies, too. That’sa great way to enjoy it. One of the things that always surprises mewhen I see an avocado is that it has more potassium than a banana. Why does that surpriseme? Because when growing up it was always like “have a banana” after an athleticevent, even when you go to an athletic event today, what do they hand out, they hand outbananas because they think they are so full of potassium. Truth is, you could just havean avocado and get a lot better results when it comes to increasing your potassium levels. Avocados are also high in fiber, they aregoing to help with digestion. They are nutrient dense, like they have vitamin K in them anda lot of nice B vitamins, as well. They are loaded with healthy fats and it supports weightloss. Now, one of the things that you are doingto see right here with this list, one of the things they have in common is that they supportweight loss. They are foods that don’t spike insulin, they are foods that don’t spikeblood sugar and they are also very satiating. One of the things that the research says abouta lot of these foods is because of their high fat content they are satiating and it helpspeople eat less. Now let’s talk about: EggsNow eggs are one of those foods that’s kind of funny because they have been demonizedso much and I just don’t even understand it. It’s kind of a goofy thing but it’sthe way it is. A lot of the research reports coming out of the medical community keep tellingus again and again that eggs are terrible. Not all of them, but some of them, some recentones in fact. Now when we look at eggs, there’s a coupleways I like to enjoy them. You can bring a hard-boiled egg to lunch with you, you canhave eggs for breakfast in the morning. There are a lot of great ways to have eggs. When we look at eggs they have a lot of benefits.They have choline which is going to be great for your brain, loaded with lots of good vitaminslike B and D. Now they are loaded with antioxidants, they are high in fat, high in protein andthey only contain 77 calories. This is why a lot of people consider eggs to be the perfectfood. OlivesNow, olives is one that not a lot of people are aware of. They are high in fat, mostlyoleic acid and it powerful. It helps decrease inflammation, it improves heart health, itfights cancer and olives are also high in antioxidants, so it’s a great food to slipinto your diet. Remember, when you are eating these foods, they are going to help make youmore satiated. There is even research out there that says “Hey, when people are eatingeggs, they feel more satiated, so they eat fewer calories”. It helps with weight loss,all of these do. Macadamia Nuts are another great one.Now, these are just easy to keep in your car, you know they don’t go bad, they don’tspoil easily. Just get a bag and throw them in your car. That way when you have a craving,and you are hungry and there is no good food around you can at least turn to those andnot ruin your diet. Macadamia nuts are loaded with antioxidants,they aid in weight loss and they also reduce they reduce the risk of metabolic syndrome. There’s some research out there that basicallysays that when you are eating nuts like macadamia nuts it’s going to reduce your chance ofgetting Type 2 Diabetes, blood sugar instability, high blood pressure, you know all of thesedifferent issues that come with metabolic syndrome cholesterol issues and they are 80%mono-saturated fat which is very good for your overall health. MCT’s most specifically MCT OilWhen we look at MCT’s there’s two types.There is powdered MCT and their is MCT oil. I specificallyuse the powder more often because it is very convenient. I have little packets of the MCTpowder and put it in my coffee. I break my fast with MCTs because they offer a lot ofdifferent very powerful benefits. Specifically the ones that I use have been used in researchand have been proven to help with weight loss and some of the other things we are goingto talk about.
